Therapy for Partners

learn about yourself and your partner
Whether you're in a new relationship and want to make sure things go well, in a long-term relationship and want to repair and rebuild, or in a state of change or questioning, relationship therapy can be a very powerful process of self and partner discovery.
I absolutely love walking with partners in their process of (re)discovering themselves and each other in relationship. When I meet with partners, I take special care to make space for each person's reality and support partners in hearing each other and finding new ways to communicate and build intimacy.
activate the healing potential in your relationship
I'm excited about supporting people in having relationships that feel better to them - more supportive, more authentic, more safe, more intimate, more stable, more passionate, more free.
Intimate relationships have the power and potential to heal some of our deepest wounding - and often being in an intimate relationship can bring up all kinds of feelings and trigger young, hurt parts of us. Through relationship therapy, you may find new ways to relate to your own wounding that allow you to show up more often and more fully as the partner you want to be.
bridge intersectional differences
It can feel like an impossible gap at times when our perspectives are formed by different experiences of privilege and marginalization. Together, we will build a bridge, an intentional ground to support our exploration of the space between your experiences.
Through relationship therapy, you will build the capacity to share what is true for you, and to hear and hold your partner in their truths.
To be loving we willingly hear each other's truth and, most important, we affirm the value of truth telling. Lies may make people feel better, but they do not help them to know love.

the nuts and bolts
I hold in-person sessions in my office at the corner of Telegraph and 30th St. The building is not wheelchair-accessible.
I offer a free 15-25 minute vibe-check zoom call to ask questions, get acquainted, and see if we'd be a good fit to begin therapy together.
